November Meeting

We had a great STEAM Meeting.  We were a little over zealous with our planning because we were only able to complete one out of two of our STEAM activities today (we had science & art planned).

While the kiddos ate their snack, we talked about what a fable is and read The Wind and the Sun (below).

We discussed the moral of the fable & the importance of being kind (especially when we have a disagreement with someone).

Our Art project of the day was making sun catchers.  It's really amazing the beauty that can be made from small pieces of tissue papers and contact paper!  Your child's sun catcher came home with him/her - so enjoy the beauty at your house!! :)
